Drive-In Movie Pajama Party: The Grinch
So I probably don’t have to tell you that Christmas in 2020 is going to look different than the holidays in the past. But that doesn’t mean we can’t create wonderful memories with our kids anyway. So if you are looking for a new Christmas activity that will create wonderful memories this year, why not a drive-in Christmas movie?
Drive-in movies are a wonderful way to get out of the house while being safe at the same time. You won’t have to worry about social distancing from the safety of your car. But at the same time, you’re getting out of the house. You’re seeing a great family movie on a huge screen while listening to the audio through your car radio. And you’ll feel like you’re experiencing something special with your community.
So that is why it is great that Ripley’s Grand Prairie is holding this great event for families in the Dallas, Texas area. They’re calling it a Drive-In Movie Pajama Party. You can put your kids in their PJs and then take them to the theater so they can watch the movie before they go to bed!
And they are playing The Grinch, which is a wonderful Christmas movie the whole family can enjoy. It takes place on December 19, 2020. The film starts at 7:30 PM, but you’ll need to get there at 7:00 PM to get a good spot for your car. Concessions are available on-site in case you get hungry or thirsty. So bring your kids, roommates, other family members, and even your dog, because pets are welcome!
