Get into the holiday spirit this year at Ward’s Berry Farm in Sharon, Massachusetts! They are hosting their annual Santa’s Farm Festival this year. It takes place on Saturdays and Sundays through December 21, 2025. This seasonal event features fun activities perfect for the season. I want to tell you about some of these activites, as well as how to save money on festival admission.
Activities
But first, let’s talk about what you can expect at Santa’s Farm Festival. As the name implies, you will, in fact, see Santa. You can visit meet in a decorated tent and get a photo with the big guy himself.
Speaking of pictures, there are great photo opportunities at this event – and not just with Santa. There is, for example, a vintage decoratied holiday tractor that makes a wonderful backdrop for a holiday photo.
Speaking of decorations, there are beautiful decorations around the farm. This includes sparkling holiday lights and a Christmas tree.
A great way to see these beautiful decorations is to take the event’s hayride! It’s a hayride that takes around ten or fifteen minutes, where you can not only enjoy the decorations but holiday music as well. There’s even a stop on the hayride where you can feed the pigs!
If you are worried all of this will make you cold, then you’ll be happy to know there is warm hot chocolate available at this event, as well as cozy fire pits. There, you can use a toast-your-own s’mores kit and have yourself a treat!
Speaking of keeping warm, there are also indoor activities for kids. This includes:
- Games with Santa’s elves like
- Reindeer Antler Ring Toss
- Christmas Cornhole
- Writing and mailing letters to Santa
- Holdiay coloring
- Surprise visits with characters like Mrs. Claus or the Gingerbread Man
Weather permitting, there are outdoor activities, too. This includes activities like:
- Bounce Pillow
- Yard games like
- Corn hole
- Kickball
- Horseshoes
