Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida can be a really fun experience.  On select nights, Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World holds the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party where you can dress up in Halloween costumes, trick-or-treat around Magic Kingdom, have unique character experiences, watch Mickey “Boo-to-You” parade & the Happy HalloWishes firework show and ride classic Magic Kingdom favorites, such as Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain.  We go into more detail about the party in our Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Guide.

This party, however, is not included in a standard ticket price and, like all things in Disney World, does not come cheap.  Luckily there are a few ways to save money if you are looking to attend a 2025 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party:

  1. Attend a Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party on specific cheaper days: Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party has dynamic pricing, meaning how much you pay depends on which day you attend.  For example, the cheapest days to attend the party are on August 17th and August 19th.  If you attend then, you would pay $112 for your ticket.  Compare that to the price you would pay if you attended on October 30th, which is $213.  You can buy these cheaper tickets here.  You’ll also see there the full calendar of parties and how much it costs for each party.
  2. Get a discounted ticket: DVC members and Disney World annual passmembers get a discounted price for their MNSSHP party.  But given how much money it costs to get an annual pass and a DVC membership, I do not think you should purchase either of those just for the discounted prices.  But if you are not a passholder or a DVC member, you can still get a discounted ticket.  We talk about these discounted tickets here.
  3. Earn Swagbucks to pay for tickets: This is one of my favorite ways to spend money on Disney vacations because then it almost feels like I’m getting Disney fun for free!  Basically, you can earn Swagbucks online by doing things you already do (like online purchases) or other simple things, like taking surveys, playing trivia games or mobile games, etc.  We tell you about free ways to earn money through Swagbucks here.  I then use my Swagbucks to buy Disney gift cards.  I can then use those Disney gift cards to help pay for my Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets!  Please note, however, that Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets often sell out (one date already has) so you might be better off going ahead and purchasing the discounted tickets I mentioned before now and then using these Disney gift cards to pay for other parts of your Disney trip, like your hotel or dining.  But if you are flexible on dates, you could try earning Swagbucks to pay for your ticket.
