As we’ve discussed on this blog before, my family really loves Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival.  It’s such a great festival not just because of the beautiful flowers and topiaries.  But also because of the delicious food available!

So naturally, we made sure we planned a trip there when it opened.  We wanted to try all the different outdoor kitchens at the park.

But there is one outdoor kitchen that’s a bit different than the rest.  And that is the Farmer’s Feast Outdoor Kitchen.  The reason why it’s different is that it does not have the same menu throughout the entirety of the festival.  It has three different menus.  We previously reviewed the Early Bloom Menu.

But right now, the menu is currently the Springtime Menu.  This Springtime Menu will last through May 20, 2023.

Review

So what did we think?

First of all, let me start with my least favorite item.  And that would be the Grilled Vegetable Bruschetta.

Now, as you can see, the presentation was great.  One of the best at the festival.

I just wish the taste was as good.  But for me, it wasn’t.  It started with the bread.  It was burnt and quite hard.  And then the vegetables, as pretty as they looked, weren’t varied enough.  I think if the tastes blended together a bit better it would have been better but they sadly did not.

Luckily, the Grilled Swordfish was much better.

Swordfish is a food that my family has wanted to try for a long time.  So that is one of the neat things about festivals like this is that it gives you the opportunity to try new foods like swordfish.

But at any rate, the swordfish was delicious.  Especially the bites without the sauce, actually.  It was hot, spicy, and quite frankly overpowered the fish.  The fish was best on its own.  But that would be the only complaint about that dish.

One menu item available at this Outdoor Market with no complaints would be the Strawberry Rhubarb Upside-Down Cake.

The upside-down cake was so good!  It was so delicious and had a great blend of flavors.  It almost had a peach cobbler-like texture to it which I really liked.  it was soft and great.  It had a fruity flavor without it being overpowering.  One of the best desserts my family has had at the Flower & Garden Festival.
