At Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite, you can celebrate your love of Star Wars at the happiest place on Earth! In this 2026 guide to Star Wars Night at Disneyland, you’ll learn all about this after hours event at the Southern California theme park. From where to get lessons in using your lightsaber to which beloved Star Wars characters will be making an appearance, we’ve got you covered!
What is Star Wars Night at Disneyland After Dark?
Disneyland After Dark is a series of special nighttime events at Disneyland theme park. These events require a separate ticket; they are not included in park admission and are held after regular park hours are over. Other Disneyland After Dark nights throughout the year include Disney 90s Nite and Sweethearts’ Nite.
During Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite, you can enjoy special performances, food and activities all themed to Star Wars. It’s a chance to meet other people who share a love for the Star Wars movies and characters. And you’ll also get to ride some of your favorite Disneyland attractions!
When is Star Wars Night at Disneyland scheduled for?
Star Wars Nite takes place on the following dates, from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM:
- April
- 28th (Tuesday)
- 30th (Thursday)
- May
- 4th (Monday)
- 6th (Wednesday)
A neat thing about attending the Star Wars After Hours event is that you can actually arrive three hours early. So even if you don’t have Disneyland tickets for that day, you can enter the park at 6:00 PM. This gives you a chance to get in some of your favorite rides (or enjoy dinner in Disneyland) before the Star Wars festivities begin. And you won’t need to bother with making a theme park reservation if you’ll be entering at 6:00 PM.
How much are Disney Star Wars Night tickets?
The price of Star Wars Nite tickets depends on the date, but it’s either $174 or $189. Here are the dates at each price point:
- $174
- Tuesday, April 28
- Thursday, April 30
- Wednesday, May 6
- $189
- Monday, May 4
So in general, if you want to save money on Star Wars Night tickets, then attend any date except May the 4th.
Please note that kids younger than the age of 3 do not have to buy a ticket – they get in free.
What is included in a Star Wars Nite ticket?
With your ticket to Disney After Dark: Star Wars Nite, you’ll get not only admission but also special souvenir keepsakes, a Star Wars Nite credential and event guide map. Plus, you get to enjoy unlimited digital downloads of all the Disney PhotoPass photos that are taken during the event. (We’ll talk a little more about photo opportunities later!)
Please note that parking is not included in your Star Wars Nite ticket.

The rides available during Star Wars Night are subject to change but will most likely include a mix of Star Wars and non-Star Wars-themed attractions.
We do know that Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and Star Tours – The Adventures Continue will be open (subject to availability).
Some of the attractions that may NOT be available include Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Pirates of the Caribbean, Hungry Bear BBQ Jamboree, Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin, Chester Drawer’s, Blue Bayou, Fortuosity Shop and Jungle Cruise.
If there is a ride that is a must do, we suggest arriving at 6:00 PM, as that is the earliest that you can enter the park that night. You’ll then have three hours to ride your favorite attractions before the official start of the event. Then, during the event, you could consider re-riding any favorite rides that are still open, depending on the wait times.
