Today, I want to talk about how the fun things you can do at Dutch Wonderland in the fall during their Happy Hauntings Event and how you can save money on tickets there.
Now, Dutch Wonderland is a theme park I’ve talked a lot about before. We’ve talked about all the fun rides you can do at Dutch Wonderland here.
But did you know that it’s a lot of fun during the autumn season as well? Yes, during the fall, Dutch Wonderland is transformed into a, well, Halloween Wonderland! That is because it is the time for Dutch Wonderland’s Happy Hauntings event!
Happy Hauntings is a Halloween-themed event that is more family-friendly than outright terrifying. And you’ll still get to enjoy some of the summer fun you get at Dutch Wonderland. It’s just, with a Halloween and fall twist. Because over 30 of Dutch Wonderland’s beloved rides and attractions are transformed for the season! Plus, in addition to this, there are extra fall activities that make visiting the park even more fun.
This event begins this Saturday (September 13, 2025). It takes place every weekend through October 26th (with an additional bonus day of Monday, October 13, 2025). The park is open from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM for the event.
So what all can you expect at Happy Hauntings? Well, I’m going to tell you. And then I’ll tell you how you can save money on a ticket!
Activities
Trick or Treasure Trail
How can you have a Halloween event without trick-or-treating, right? A great cast of characters will be at the trick-or-treat trail at Happy Hauntings, so you can meet new friends while collecting delicious treats.
Treasure Trolls Dive Show
Treasure Trolls is a nighttime show with special lighting and fog. The basic plot of the show is that a group of friends find a treasure map that leads them to an abandoned castle.
A neat thing about this show is that there is a sensory-sensitive Treasure Trolls performance. It takes place at 4:00 PM. The other shows take place at 5:30 PM, 6:30 PM, and 7:30 PM. All shows take place at Aqua Stadium.
Duke’s Halloween Bubble Bash
Duke the Dragon and his friends will be at Market Square. Grab your bubble wand and join them for at this fun nightly dance party. It takes place at 6:00 PM and then again at 7:00 PM.
By the way, this dance party is a great chance to show off your costume. And if you don’t have a costume yet for your child, you can find a great costume here.
Mayhem’s Amazing Hay Maze
Mayhem’s Amazing Hay Maze is a brand new, family-friendly hay maze with unexpected twists and turns! You can find it over at Spooky Corner.
Pop Up Play: Spooktacular Adventure
Pop Up Play: Spooktacular Adventure is brand new to Happy Hauntings and is an interactive theater experience at Storytime Corner. Showtimes are at 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM.
Trick or Squeak Puppet Show
Watch Sofia the Spider overcome her Halloween fears in this puppet show over at Celebration Theater.

Not-So-Spooky Storytime
Beloved Dutch Wonderland characters will be reading not-so-spooky stories to guests at Story Time Corner. It takes place at 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM.
Daniel Tiger Meet & Greets
Each weekend, Daniel Tiger will be joined by a different friend for meet and greets. These meet and greets take place at 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM over at the Neighborhood Stage.
