This Scottsdale, Arizona Halloween festival is great fun for the whole family.
It is a wonderful annual event that here at Green Vacation Deals we’ve talked about for years.
It takes place this year from Friday, October 24th, 2025, through Sunday, October 26th, 2025.

Fun Halloween Experiences
As I said, there are a lot of fun Halloween experiences at the Balloon Spooktacular.
Hot Air Balloons
As the name would imply, there are definitely hot air balloons here! In fact, there will be over 20 hot air balloons. These hot air balloons come from all over the world. And they serve a special Halloween purpose, which I am about to tell you about.
Trick-or-Treating
And that purpose is that each hot air balloon will be designated as a trick-or-treat station. This is great because what’s Halloween without trick-or-treating, right? And there will definitely be candy at these stations! In fact, there will be over 4,000 pounds of candy!
Balloon Rides
Not only will you be able to see great hot air balloons, but there will also be tethered balloon rides, courtesy of Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon Ride Co. You and your family will get amazing views of the whole festival from up above.
Kids Zone
Trick-or-treating won’t be the only fun thing for kids to do here. There will also be over 30 games and attractions for children at this festival. This includes an obstacle course, slide, and inflatable bounce houses.
Nightly Costume Contests
Costumes are another big part of Halloween, and this festival knows it! There will be nighty costume contests not just for the kids, but for the adults, too! You can compete by yourself or in groups, too (so now is the time to start looking for group Halloween costumes!).
And this is a costume contest you’ll want to win, because the winners of the costume contest this year will receive a special Trophy and a $100 Visa Gift Card!
