So you can save money on your flight with the promo code.  But you may like to know other ways you can save money on your flight this summer.

Here are other money-saving tips for summer airfare:

  • Book flights for Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: There are a higher number of seats available for flights those days, so you’re more likely to find a good price then
  • Purchase at least 21 days in advance:  I have thought about taking a trip before and looked at airfare prices about a month in advance.  When I look again around two weeks in advance, the price is much higher.  So you’ll need to book your flight at least three weeks in advance if you want a cheaper price.
  • Compare multiple airlines: The great thing about booking a flight on Cheapoair versus booking your flight directly with the airline is that they will compare flight prices from multiple airlines.  So if you are flexible about which airline you choose, you can find cheaper prices.
  • Don’t travel on holidays: Certain holidays may have an extra surcharge, so if you can, avoid flying on these holidays.

Like most good deals, there is fine print here that can restrict your savings.  Here are some key highlights:
