Let’s face it.  San Antonio, Texas can get hot.  I mean, really hot.  And sometimes you just need to cool off.

That is why I am so glad there is Aquatica San Antonio!  Aquatica is a wonderful water park.  Today, we’re going to talk about all the fun attractions there are at Aquatica.  And then we’ll tell you how to get a coupon so you can save money on admission there!

Tonga Twister

Tonga Twister is Aquatica’s newest ride, and it has the distinction of being the first of its kind in Texas.  You plunge from a height of over 50 feet and you go down a fully enclosed aqualucent tube.  There are then around 400 feet of twists and turns on this heart-pumping water slide.

Ihu’s Breakaway Falls

Ihu’s Breakaway Falls is also one of Aquatica’s newest rides.  It has the distinction of being the tallest drop slide in all of Texas!  In this ride, you get to experience free falling and an almost 80° plunge into the water.  This is a ride not to be missed for any thrill seeker!

Stingray Falls

Stingray Falls is Aquatica’s signature attraction, and for good reason.  It is a four-seat raft ride where you go down twists and turns to an underwater grotto.  And it’s there that you get to see stingrays and tropical fish!  There is no other ride like this in the world, and it is definitely one you are going to want to check out while you’re at Aquatica.

Walhalla Wave

Walhalla Wave is a special ride that was the first of its kind in North America.  It is a family clover-tube ride that features a zero-gravity wall that will give you a sense of weightlessness.

Big Surf Shores

Experience the feeling of being at the beach while staying in San Antonio.  Big Surf Shores is a pool with waves that swell up to 5 feet.

Cutback Cove

Right next to the wave pool is Cutback Cove, a 3,360-square-foot tropical activity pool that is great for the “big kids”.  It’s got waterfalls, a corkscrew water slide, and poolside lounge chairs you can relax in.

Kata’s Kookaburra Cove

Aquatica San Antonio has a place for the younger kids, too.  And that place is Kata’s Kookaburra Cove.  It is a 3,000-square-foot area themed to sea creatures with fun play elements for children.

Hooroo Run

Hooroo Run is one of Aquatica’s most exhilarating rides, which is saying something because they have a lot of great rides.  You get to choose between single or double tubes.  Either way, your tube will descend down a 48-foot tall ride.  The ride features lots of twists, turns, drops, open and closed slides, water curtains, and more.

Taumata Racer

If you are competitive, then you will love the Taumata Racer.  Because it is a mat slide ride where you get to race against your friends or family on side-by-side water slides!  And it’s a great ride, too – it even features a 55-foot drop in under 10 seconds!

Tassie’s Twisters

You get to choose between a double or single tube and you can choose between two different slides on Tassie’s Twisters.  Both slides feature a large bowl where you will spin around before you descend into the water.

Kiwi Curl

Kiwi Curl is an attraction that consists of 2 water slides, and they are both over 450 feet long.
