What Special Festivities Take Place During the SeaWorld Mardi Gras Celebration?
There are special festivities that take place during the celebration that do not normally take place at SeaWorld.
Pop-Up Parade
What is Mardi Gras without a parade? Well, you can see a special pop-up parade at the Wild Arctic Plaza! You’ll see entertainers, stilt walkers, musicians, and bead captains in this exciting experience. It takes place at select times during the day.

Street Party
Also, what is Mardi Gras without partying? There will be a street party at the Wild Arctic Plaza with a Bourbon Street flavor. There’s going to be a DJ, street performers, and a dance party. I really love hanging around the Wild Arctic area on Mardi Gras, because the vibes are great.
Live Music
When I think of New Orleans, I think of great music. So it is only fitting in a Mardi Gras celebration that there is live music! A live band will play Cajun and jazz classics at the Wild Arctic Plaza. The live music when we were there was really good.
Discount Tickets

So unlike Howl-o-Scream at SeaWorld Orlando, the Mardi Gras event does not require a separate ticket. You can attend both Mardi Gras and the Seven Seas Food Festival with a regular admission ticket to SeaWorld.

Other February Events at SeaWorld Orlando
The Mardi Gras special event isn’t the only fun thing taking place at SeaWorld Orlando this February! The popular Seven Seas Food Festival is back on weekends. This event is a great way to try new foods and drinks. This includes Gulf Coast food that are perfect around Mardi Gras, such as Shrimp and Grits and Banana Fosters Beignets.
