Just 18 miles (or 30 kms) from Paris is the wonderful theme park Parc Asterix.  The fun amusement park is themed to the popular Asterix comic book series.  I want to tell you a bit more about this theme park and how you can save money on your tickets.

You will want to find out how to get this discounted ticket, because this is a place where you and your family can have a lot of fun.

It’s got 6 different worlds with numerous attractions and fun things to do.

Via Antiqua is the main entrance of the park and is looks like an ancient Roman street.

Keeping with the Roman theme, The Roman Empire is themed to ancient Rome, Roman culture, and Roman mythology.

Keeping with the mythology theme, Ancient Greece is themed to Greek mythology with Greek gods and legends-themed attractions.

Themed to another famous ancient civilization, Egypt features rides and attractions that are nods to history and adventure.  You can even find iconic Egyptian landmarks like the pyramids.

Similarly, the Vikings section centers around adventure, Viking culture, and famous Viking battles and voyages.

Rounding out the sections is Gaul, themed to the Asterix comic book series.

Throughout the park you’ll find wonderful rides, such as:

  • Tonnerre de Zeus, one of Europe’s largest wooden roller coasters
