Technology takes to the water with eFoils. The eFoil is basically an electric surfboard with hydrofoil that lets you raise up out of the water, gliding along like you’re air born. An advanced lithium-ion battery powers the silent motor, controlled by a Bluetooth handheld throttle.
The propeller is encased with a guard to prevent injury to riders, coral or the ocean floor. The stern is immersed in 30” of water while the board extends 2 feet above the waves. You can fly speeds up to 25 mph. The eFoil is part of the small but growing electric watersports market.
