Take a step back in time to celebrate the glory days of motorsport! See classic and vintage race cars from the glamour of the Roaring 20s through the Swinging 60s. The festival will be celebrating 100 years of Le Mans.
The Historic Festival will feature pre and post war historic car races and demonstration runs by cars from the Martin Birrane Collection. There will also be displays of classic race and road cars in a show area. Add to all that, exciting sideshows and entertainment.

The Mondello Park museum houses the Martin Birrane Collection. It will be open during the Historic Festival. You can see its lineup of indycars, F1 cars, Le Mans sports cars and cars from many other branches of Motorsports.

- LOLA T90 raced by Sir Jackie Stewart in the Indianapolis 500
- The LOLA B94 raced by Nigel Mansell to the Indycar Championship
- Eddie Irvine’s Jordan 194 F1
- An extremely rare Le Mans Ford C 100
- 2 NASCAR Chevrolet Luminas from Ireland’s only NASCAR team
Enjoy rides on the Ferris Wheel, Carousel and Helter Skelter at the Vintage Funfair. It will also have retro games and entertainment.
The swing bands in The Paddock will get you up and dancing. Enjoy fast tempo, stylish instrumental music.
