Agistri Greece
Your first stop will be the lovely island of Agistri with its lush green landscapes. The boat stops at the village of Skala. The island has a beautiful golden beach and water sports, including swimming, snorkeling, fishing, windsurfing, diving and water skiing, are popular here.
You’ll have an hour and a half to spend on Agistri. There is an optional one hour bike tour to Megalochori. On your way, you’ll stop to visit the church of Agioi Anargyroi with its remarkable blue dome. As you pedal, you’ll get dramatic coastal views. You’ll reach the stunningly beautiful Chaikiada Beach, one of the first nude beaches in Greece. Then you’ll pedal back to the beach, enjoying the lovely scenery along the way.
Moni Island
Your next stop will be Moni Island. Its natural beauty is unspoiled and it is uninhabited. It is populated by deer, kri-kri goats, falcons, rabbits and wild peacocks.
At this stop, you’ll enjoy a traditional Greek lunch with wine, beer, soft drinks and coffee. Then you’ll have time to jump in the water and swim. Snorkeling equipment, water noodles and boogie boards will be provided. You can also swim to Moni and explore the beautiful island.
Aegina Greece
The next stop will be Aegina. This island is known for its picturesque villages, white stone houses, red volcanic landscape, archeological monuments and beautiful beaches with crystal clear water. It was one of the most important islands in ancient Greece, so sightseeing is fun here.
See the ruins of the Temple of Apollo which dates back to the 6th century BC. The remains of the Temple of Athena Aphaia are situated at the top of a large rock. The Temple was dedicated to the goddess in 420 BC. Founded in 1829, the Museum of Aegina was the first museum in Greece. It has a collection of artifacts from the Temple of Athena, a statue from the Temple of Apollo and more. The locals have an excellent selection of jewelry, clothing and crafts if you’d like to purchase souvenirs.
After an hour and a half, you’ll return to the boat for the journey back to Athens. Listen to music and take in the sights from the water. You can also enjoy Mediterranean fruits, snacks, coffee and drinks as you sail the waters of the Saronic Gulf.
