Dinosaurs in the Park is a limited-time event taking place at Tilgate Park in Crawley.  It is a great place for families looking for a fun school holiday excursion.  The event features a Dinosaur Trail, a Dino-Fun-Zone, food, and dinosaur-themed souvenirs.   The event has already started and will take place through 8th June 2025.  And you will be able to purchase a discounted ticket here.

Dinosaur Trail

The Dinosaur Trail features 39 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs.  These dinosaurs are realistic-looking and even move and make noises.  You’ll be able to walk through the trail and see these dinosaurs from the Jurassic, Triassic, and Cretaceous periods.  You’ll see facts displayed, so it is also an educational experience.

Dino-Fun-Zone

Remember how I mentioned this is a fun school holiday activity?  Well, there are lots of fun activities for children, some even educational.  You can find these at the Dino-Fun-Zone.

Kids can enjoy:

  • Looking for skeletons in a dig
  • Bouncing on a bouncy house
  • Taking a ride on children’s rides, like a carousel
  • Watching a baby dinosaur hatch
  • Creating their own Dinosaur and watching the dinosaur come alive in Designosaur
  • Playing golf at Mini Dino Golf
  • and more!

There is also a Dino soft play area for children under 3 years old.

Food

Dinosaur in the Park’s food court offers many family-friendly foods.  There are picnic tables and deck chairs so families can eat together.  There is even space for picnic blankets if you want to bring your own picnic.
