Prepare to paint St. Lauderdale green on Saturday, March 16, 2024! That’s the day of the Fort Lauderdale St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival. This is Southern Florida’s biggest celebration of all things Irish and thousands of people will be coming to downtown Fort Lauderdale for this one-of-a-kind celebration.
The parade will begin at noon. There’s a new parade route this year. It will travel east on Las Olas Boulevard from Huzenga Plaza to SE 9th Avenue.
You’ll see colorfully decorated floats, Irish dancers, marching bands, Pipe & Drums Corps, classic cars, street performers, Clydesdale horses, leprechauns, lots and lots of green and so much more!
This year the St. Patrick’s Day Festival will be held at Tunnel Top Plaza on Las Olas Boulevard and SE 6th Avenue. It will begin at 10 am and go until 7 pm and it’s free. You can enjoy cultural activities and interactive games. There will be a Kids Zone with games and activities for children.
Vendors will be there with arts, crafts and merchandise, making for a great shopping experience. Delicious Irish food and beverages will be available for purchase.
If you’d like to dress for the parade and festival, there’s a great selection of St. Patrick’s Day clothes here.
And accessories can be found here.
So connect with your inner Irish and give a toast to the Emerald Isle on this great day in Fort Lauderdale!
