Have you ever seen an Allosaurus or a Bambiraptor? Well, you can see these dinosaurs and over one hundred others when Jurassic Quest comes to the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan, on October 13, 2023, through October 15, 2023.
Jurassic Quest is the most popular dinosaur event on tour. See fully functioning animatronic life sized dinosaurs. Each dinosaur was painstakingly created in every detail in collaboration with top paleontologists. Some of the dinosaurs have scales while others have feathers or fur. These dinosaurs are incredibly realistic and are true in size and detail.
The dinosaurs have an animatronic metal frame and layers of foam have been placed over the frame. Motors inside make them move. The dinosaurs can turn their heads, swing their tails and some can walk.
You’ll meet the adorable baby dinosaurs, including Tyson the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Cammie the Camarasaurus and Trixie the Triceratops. You may even meet a star dino trainer like Safari Sarah or Dino Dustin.
Things to Do at Jurassic Quest
There are so many fun things to do at Jurassic Quest. Climb aboard and ride on some of the largest dinosaurs in the country. Dig for fossils and be delighted at what you find. See an authentic Tyrannosaurus Rex tooth, a Triceratops horn and a life sized dinosaur skull.
You can walk through the Cretaceous Period, the Jurassic Period and the Triassic Period and learn about each period. You’ll enjoy the entertaining Baby & Walking Dinosaur Shows.
Dive into the “Ancient Oceans” exhibit and see ancient ocean dwellers, including the largest apex predator that ever lived: a moving, life sized 50 foot long Megalodon. See the chicken sized Microraptor and the turkey sized Psittacosaurus.
