Chicago’s Haunted Halloween Ball combines lavish VIP night club experience with the exclusiveness luxury hotel and the terror and chills of a haunted house.

Built in 1893, the Congress Plaza Hotel was classified as one of the most haunted hotels in the world.  Guests relate feeling like they’re being watched. People have left the hotel in the middle of the night because they felt paranoid and couldn’t sleep.  Several rooms are sealed with padlocks and one room is locked with a chain.

There are said to be ghostly children that haunt the 12th floor.  Apparently their mother went crazy and threw them off the roof of the hotel.  America’s first known serial killer, Dr. H.H. Holmes, met his victims in the lobby of the Congress Plaza Hotel.  Al Capone had a suite on the 8th floor and his spirit is said to haunt the suite.

Room 441 is said to be haunted by a female ghost who will shake your bed to wake you up.  You can ask to stay in 441 if you want to investigate this further.

The Ballrooms in the hotel will be transformed into an abandoned hotel run by zombies.  Hundreds of costumed party goers will be dancing to hits from world renowned DJs. Other entertainment includes encounters with the Haunted Halloween Ball vampire bellmen, zombie servers and theatrical performances by costumed go-go dancers.  There will be $2,000 cash and prizes for bizarre, outrageous and risque costumes.

The Ball will sell out so don’t delay.  Your ticket will include pre- and post-paryl admissions.  Book this through Goldstar and save $55 on the price of admission.
