The Infinite Wrench Gets Frightful

So this year’s Halloween may look a bit different.  So if you are looking for new experiences to replace any old traditions, then I have an event for you.

The Infinite Wrench Gets Frightful takes place on Thursday, October 29th, 2020.  It’s presented by The Neo-Futurists, a Chicago-based performing arts group known for its experimental theater.

And seeing the Infinite Wrench Gets Frightful is a great way to celebrate the Halloween season.  Because it is 30 brand new, spooky plays performed in 60 minutes.  These plays explore the strange and the macabre.  Those dark terrors in the back of your mind?  You may seem them in these plays.  Along with heavy metal, dark humor, and, oh yeah, existential dread.

They are all screened live at Chi-Town Movies in Chicago, Ilinois.  Chi-Town Movies is a drive-in movie venue that was created in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.  So the best part of this is you get to see all these movies from the safety of your car!  No worrying about the safety of an indoor theater.  You can properly socially distance yourself in your car.  You are even open to watch outside of your car.  That is, as long as you sit directly outside your vehicle and wear a mask.

Oh, and there are also snacks available at ChiTown Grille.  You can purchase food online or over the phone and then it is delivered to your car.

The show starts at 7:30 PM.  But there is also a spooky pre-show starting at 6:30 PM.  So you know you will be in for a great – and spooky – evening!
