Get the scare of your life at Lake Joy Trails of Terror! Make your way through authentic woods and existing buildings for an authentic haunted experience unlike indoor attractions. Almost 20 professionally designed scare scenes make for an immersive journey through Central Georgia’s spookiest trail in Kathleen.
You can face the zombie apocalypse in an interactive combat scenario. This will include professional weapon training and unlimited jelly BB ammunition. You can check your survival skills as zombies will be charging at you from all sides.
There are extreme immersive options for serious thrill seekers. The Extra Experience allows trained actors to physically interact with you through body bags, cages and psychological scenarios that blur the lines between real life and nightmares.
Experience Central Georgia’s scariest haunted attraction while supporting local families battling cancer. Lake Joy is a nonprofit organization.
Dress for the weather and closed toe shoes are definitely needed for the woods. There’s free parking onsite. Costumes are welcome but no face masks.
Experiences will start at dark – approximately 8 pm. Trails of Terror will be open Friday and Saturday only throughout October, 2025.
