Join a star studded lineup with renowned artists at the 1st Annual Peachy King Southern Soul Music Festival. It will be coming to Shelby, North Carolina, on November 8, 9 and 10, 2024. The Peachy King Southern Soul Music Festival’s mission is to bring people together through music. They offer a platform for both seasoned artists as well as up and coming artists.

Friday, November 8
- Chubb Rock is a Jamaican American rapper. He released several successful hip hop albums in the 1980s and 1990s. Chubb moved to Atlanta and joined a radio show hosted by Silas Alexander. They both left the radio station and now have a syndicated afternoon radio show in 2018. His greatest hits include “Treat Em Right,” “Just The Two Of Us” and “Crooklyn.”
- Young Bloodz is a Southern hip hop duo from Atlanta. J-Bo and Sean Paul formed the duo in 1997. Their greatest hits include “Damn!,” “Cadillac Pimpin’” and “Hot Heat.”

Saturday, November 9
- Big Bub was in the R&B group Today, formed in 1988 with childhood friends from Englewood, New Jersey. He left the group to work as a soul and R&B producer for Mary J. Blige and others. He returned to performing as a solo artist in 1997. His hits include “I Don’t Mind” and “Tellin’ Me Stories.”
- Kut Klose is an R&B trio from Atlanta. The trio is comprised of Athena Chang, Lavonn Battle and Tabitha Duncan. They released their album, “Surrender,” in 1995 and their biggest hits “I Like” and “Get Up On” came from this album.

Sunday, November 10
- Jeter Jones is an award winning Southern soul blues recording artist and songwriter. He’s also a military decorated combat veteran. He’s from Louisiana and is known as the “King of the Trailride Blues.”
- Mike Clarke, Jr. is a Southern soul and R&B singer from Macon, Georgia. His biggest hit is “Auntie Outside.”
