Fearing’s is one of the places to visit if you are in Dallas. This is a restaurant headlined, after all, by celebrity chef Dean Fearing, otherwise known as the godfather of Modern Texas Cuisine. This restaurant features seven indoor and heated outdoor settings including the popular Rattlesnake Bar. It is no wonder that so many who visit Dallas, whether they are families, rock stars, business travelers, etc., want to visit this restaurant.

The Ritz-Carlton Dallas
Fearing’s is located at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas. This luxury hotel on downtown Dallas’s famous McKinney Avenue with spacious rooms and suites and a hotel spa. You might think booking a luxury hotel like this would be to expensive for a Mother’s Day Weekend. But it is actually on sale if you book your stay here.
2. Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront Mother’s Day Brunch
Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront is a waterfront resort that overlooks Lake Ray Hubbard (and has a large pool that overlooks the lake). It’s just a half-mile from a movie theater and shops at the Harbor Rockwall. It’s just 22 miles from downtown Dallas so it makes a wonderful getaway for the weekend for Mother’s Day. Especially because the hotel has such a great Mother’s Day Brunch. Seating is every 30 minutes from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM based on availability. No walk-in reservations are available. It costs $69 for adults, $49 for seniors (ages 65 and up), $26 for kids ages 6 to 18, and is complimentary for kids ages five and under.
It’s going to be a great event. There will be live music and complimentary mimosas. They have a great menu of food, too.

3. Mother’s Day Brunch at the Anatole
If you want to make your Mother’s Day weekend truly remarkable, then consider a stay at Hilton Anatole. They have a lot of great features that can help make the weekend fun and relaxing, like an outdoor pool complex with slides and a lazy river, an award-winning fitness club, a spa, and more.
And they of course have a great Mother’s Day Brunch at their onsite restaurant, Media Grill & Bar. Media Grill & Bar has a fun casual atmosphere with 27 televisions (great for those of us who love sports). Eating there means you’ll be surrounded by not just TVs but artwork and lush greenery as well. And they have a great Mother’s Day Buffet on May 14, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. It costs $55 per adult and $25 per child for those ages twelve years old and younger. Elm & Good is an upscale American tavern in Downtown Dallas’ Deep Ellum neighborhood. They serve great food inspired by simple farmhouse fare. They are hosting a Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet with a special brunch buffet menu featuring breakfast and lunch favorites. You can book a reservation here.
Elm and Good is located at The Kimpton Pittman Hotel. Its location in the cultural epicenter of downtown Dallas near local art galleries, boutiques and music venues makes it a great choice for a Mother’s Day weekend trip. It is also a hotel with a neat history as it is located inside an early 1900s Beaux Arts building that was the former home to the historical Knights of Pythias Temple.
