Boone, North Carolina is such a wonderful travel destination.  There’s hiking in the spring and summer.  Fall foliage in the autumn.  Skiing and snowboarding in the winter.  There are a lot of fun things to do in and around Boone, NC.

But did you know that Boone is also a wonderful romantic travel destination?  Part of that reason is that Boone is so beautiful.  It is the perfect backdrop for love, romance – and maybe even a proposal!

But another part of that reason is there are lots of romantic things to do in Boone!  So we came up with our list of the romantic things to do in Boone, North Carolina.

1. Horse and Carriage Ride through Moses H. Cone Park

Can you imagine a more romantic thing to do than a horse and carriage ride?  This would be romantic anywhere.  But it would be especially romantic in the beautiful Moses H. Cone Park in Blowing Rock, North Carolina.  You can take in amazing views of the Blue Ridge parkway and you ride past the historical manor.  You can book this great private horse and carriage ride here.

2. UTV Rentals

Another great way to get great views of the area with your love is by renting a UTV from Appalachians Outdoor Adventures.  It is a great way to see it in a private way side by side.

3. Kayaking or Tubing

Time on the water can be very romantic.  Kayaking or tubing side by side along the New River can not only be relaxing and a great way to see beautiful Boone.  But it can be a time for you to reconnect with your partner all over again.

4. The Cascades Trail

6. Daniel Boone Native Gardens

7. Julian Price Memorial Park

Julian Price Memorial Park is a beautiful 4,2000-acre park at the foot of Grandfather Mountain.  It has one of the largest picnic areas on the Parkway, so it is the perfect location for a romantic picnic!  Here is a great picnic basket for two you could get beforehand.
