Las Vegas is a great place to celebrate holidays because Sin City does holidays up right! The city is honoring veterans by putting on the biggest parade west of the Mississippi, second only to New York City. There will be an Air Force flyover and then the parade will begin. Following the parade, the Nevada Department of Veteran Service will host a Veterans Day Ceremony at the Nevada State Veterans Memorial in downtown Las Vegas. There will be a Veterans Festival in neighboring Henderson, Nevada, to honor military veterans of all generations and their relatives. This will take place on November 12, 2022, from 11 am to 3 pm at the Galleria Mall.
