Arizona Fried Chicken & Wings Festival

The Arizona Fried Chicken & Wing Festival is coming to Phoenix on Saturday, December 4, 2021.  The doors will open for Early Admission at 11 am.

Fried chicken and wings are the perfect food to share with family and friends.  They are a staple for picnics, tailgating parties, and more.

The United States is not the only place fried chicken and wings are enjoyed.  They can be found all around the globe and every country and culture has their own twist on them.  In South Korea, the chicken is double fried and served as Chimac, a pairing of fried chicken and beer.

The Festival will feature over 10 local fried chicken vendors with different preparations from Southern-fried to Korean fried chicken to Nashville Hot fried chicken.  You’ll see a wide variety of fried chicken and wing creations.  Lemonade, boba tea and desserts will be available for purchase.

The Festival is happening at The Pressroom.  It’s located in the heart of downtown Phoenix Warehouse District on the corner of Madison Street and 5th Avenue.  This historic 15,000 square foot, red brick building was built in the 1920s.  It once housed the most modern printing presses in the city.  It has over 1,000+ person capacity as well as a very large patio.

The Festival will be held both indoors and outdoors.  There will be seating indoors with air conditioning plus a fully stocked professionally staffed bar and entertainment.  You can get cold beer and cocktails from the bar.

Most of the food vendors will be outside.  You can find fried chicken or wing dishes for $5 or less.  There is seating on the patio under a shaded structure.  You can purchase food from the vendors and sit either inside or outside.  By purchasing food and beverages, you will be supporting local vendors and helping them overcome recent economic difficulties

You can shop at a curated marketplace with creations from local artists.  Enjoy playing a variety of complimentary lawn, board, and video games.

A face mask or face covering is required by the city of Phoenix.  When eating, the mask can be removed.  Event times will be staggered to limit crowd size so you and your group can maintain social distancing.  You must arrive during your time for admission.
