You can have a roaring good time walking among the dinosaurs at Del Mar Fairgrounds on January 19, 20 and 21, 2024. Jurassic Quest is the world’s largest and most popular dinosaur attraction.
Jurassic Quest has spared no expense bringing these enormous creatures to life. In collaboration with leading paleontologists, every dinosaur was painstakingly reproduced in all details.
Each dinosaur took months to create. They are made out of layers of foam placed over an animatronic metal frame. There are motors inside the dinosaurs that make their movements. The dinosaurs will turn their heads, swing their tails and some can walk.
You’ll see over 100 life sized dinosaurs. They come in all sizes, from the chicken sized Microraptor to the 80 foot long Spinosaurus. A Tyrannosaurus Rex will tower over you.
Marvel at the Carnotaurus with horns on his head and spikes all over his body. The Apatosaurus has a long neck that reaches 40 feet high. You’ll see velociraptors, Minmi, Brachyceratops, Ankylosaurus, Pterodaustro, Allosaurus and many more.

Visit the Ancient Ocean Exhibit with a moving, life sized 50 foot long Megalodon. Meet the adorable baby dinosaurs, including Tyson the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Trixie the Triceratops and Cammie the Camarasaurus.
Walk through the Cretaceous Period, Jurassic Period and the Triassic Period and learn about the dinosaurs of each period. This is a great way to learn about science!
