The West Coast’s longest-running dance festival is coming back to San Francisco, California! Yes, the How Weird St Faire is returning to Howard and 2nd Street in the SoMa district on Saturday, October 14, 2023. It is the 24th year of this fun festival that brings dance and weirdness to San Francisco.
The theme of this year’s event is Time Travel: Stargate. There will be a total of 9 stages a the event. World-class electronic music will be played on some of the best sound systems in the world. The music stages are provided by Muti Music and Northern Nights, Pulse SF, Inorbit and Raindance, Temple Nightclub, Mountain Lion Hi-Fi, Heavy Petting Zoo, the Constortium of Collective Consciousness, Bootie Mashup, Opulent Temple, and Opel and Opulent Chill. There will be cutting-edge headliners coming from all over the Bay Area.
There will also be exotic vendors from all over the world here. Remember, this is a festival that wants to stay weird, so you can be assured you’ll find a little bit of everything here. You’ll definitely see a lot of unique items. There will be art, jewelry, and clothing. You’ll see designer clothing, the latest trends, and really unique clothing, too. This is a great way to support local artists, designers, and small businesses.

How to Get to the Faire
There are four different entrances to the faire: at Howard and 1st Streets, at Howard and New Montgomery Streets, at Mission and 2nd Streets, and Folsom and 2nd Streets. It is strongly recommended that you take public transportation to the event. Luckily, the event is just a short walk from Market Street and the Montgomery BART station, the Caltrains Station, and many MUNI lines. Or you can use the new Transbay Terminal which is right next to the faire.
