Idaho Falls Zoo

The Idaho Falls Zoo is known as the best little zoo in the west.  And it is really a great zoo!  Over 300 exotic animals call the Idaho Falls Zoo home.

They have wonderful exhibits with amazing animals.


The African exhibit is where you will see the kind of animals you would see in Africa.  You can see what it is like to be a researcher in the African Savannah at Kamp Kiwanja.

The Idaho Falls Zoo has an Asia section with animals you would find in Asia.  The Asia exhibit includes the Asian Adventure and the Primate Discovery Center.

The Australia & New Guinea Exhibit is a great way to see animals from a very different part of the world!  Make sure while you are here you see the graphics discussing the structures.  You can see spirit poles made by a local artist, a billabong, and whirly shelters.

And of course, you’ll want to see the animals, which include:
