The Lunar New Year is just a few days away, and SeaWorld San Diego will be celebrating the special event next week. On Saturday, February 10, 2024, and Sunday, February 11, 2024, there will be an Asian celebration at the popular Southern California theme park.
It’s a great way to have a lot fun and celebrating the Year of the Dragon. Because all the things you normally can do at the park (like rides and animal interactions) will still be happening. There will just be extra things for the celebration, which I’m about going to tell you about. Then I’ll tell you how you can save money on a ticket!
Cultural Performances
One thing I’m excited about is the cultural performances. Performers from the local community will be performing on the Lunar New Year Festival Stage at the Wild Arctic Plaza. Some of the entertainment you can expect includes dancing, Taiko drumming, and more.

Asian food is delicious, and there will be an extra menu full of popular Asian dishes and drinks available during the event.
