You may have read books about the doomed ship Titanic, or watched the famous movie, Titanic. So you may know about it. But what if you felt like you were actually there?
That is the kind of feeling you can get at Titanic: A Voyage Through Time. It is a virtual reality or VR experience, so you’ll feel like you’re really there.
It starts with a journey to the wreckage as it is today. You’ll feel like you’ve taken an actual expedition to see the wreckage.
From there, you’ll feel like you’ve gone back in time. It will be like how the ship was before the ship tragically sank. You’ll be taken to the famous Grand Staircase as well as other iconic locations on the ship.
Because it is a VR experience, you’ll get to explore your surroundings. You can move freely and even “touch” your surroundings.
You also get to experience the doomed ship through characters that the event’s producers based on real passengers and crew. This experience is not only fun but educational as well.
Because of the equipment, you will need to be at least 4 feet 3 inches tall to enjoy this experience. You’ll also need to be at least 10 years old.
The experience takes place at the Fever Hub at Stonestown Galleria in San Francisco, California (across from UNIQLO). The most convenient mall entrances for this experience are near 85C Cafe and Whole Foods.
