June is almost here, and that means it’s almost Pride Month. And there are a lot of great events around San Diego, California celebrating Pride Month. So we found some of the best pride events around San Diego. We’ll tell you how to get tickets for these events.
1. Pride By The Beach
But you won’t need to purchase a ticket to this first event since it is free. It is a community event brought to you by the North County LGBTQ Resource Center.
The annual Pride by the Beach Street Festival takes place in Oceanside on June 1st, 2024 this year. Last year’s festival had over 23,000 attendees, so it’s a big deal. You can find out more information about Pride By The Beach here.
2. The Official Pride Bar Crawl of San Diego
This is the seventh annual pride bar crawl in San Diego. It is a great time to dress in the most vibrant outfit you want where you can feel safe during the crawl. A portion of every ticket sold goes directly to Pride Non-Profit Organizations nationwide; in the past, money has been donated to the Trevor Project; this year, it will be donated to San Diego Pride. 3. Pacific Beach Pride Crawl
Rather bar hop in the Pacific Beach neighborhood? Then the Pacific Beach Pride Crawl is perfect you!
You’ll be able to take place in a bar crawl that has all the fun of a regular bar crawl (free entry, drink specials, etc.), but the added bonus of an emphasis on inclusivity and acceptance. Not to mention the rainbow flags and glittering costumes you’ll see at different bars. You can get a ticket here.
4. San Diego Wave FC Pride Night
You can celebrate Pride Month alongside San Diego’s LGBTQ+ community by attending a San Diego Wave game. Your hometown women’s professional soccer team will be holding its annual Pride Night match on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Snapdragon Stadium. They’ll be playing the Chicago Red Stars. 5. Carlsbad Pride Festival
San Diego suburbs will be brimming with pride this June, including Carlsbad. And you’ll feel it at the Carlsbad Pride Festival. It takes place at Poinsettia Park on Hidden Valley Road on Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 10 am to 10 pm. The festival is full of great music, tasty food, and incredible performances. All LGBTQ+ community members and allies are welcome to this event! You’ll just need to purchase a ticket here first.
6. Gays, Theys, & Baes Standup Comedy Showcase – Pride Month
Pride Month is a month to have fun, and laughing so hard you cry is definitely fun. So come check out Gays, Theys, & Baes Standup Comedy Showcase – Pride Month. You’ll be entertained by the comedy of some of the funniest LGBTQ+ and ally comedians you’ll ever find. You can purchase a ticket here.
7. Drag Queen Bingo: Pride
What could make a night of bingo more fun? How about a pride-themed, drag-themed bingo night where drag queens will keep you entertained throughout the night with their fabulous performances? Or how about making the event held at Grafted Cellars Winery so you can sip wine all night during the game?
