Based on the Chinese Lunar Calendar, the Lunar New Year, also known as Spring Festival or Chinese New Year, will begin on February 10, 2024, this year. Celebrations will continue for 15 days.
2024 is the Year of the Dragon, the fifth sign of the Chinese zodiac. The Dragon represents health, strength and good fortune. It is believed that the animal ruling a person’s birth year influences their personality and ultimately their future. People born in the Year of the Dragon are believed to have charisma, national leadership and boundless enthusiasm.
Celebrate the Year of the Rabbit with the Vegas Golden Knights on January 22, 2023. The Lunar will be celebrated in their game with the Minnesota Wild at 7 pm in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
There will be festivities before the game and during intermission. There will be giveaways and prizes.
