Based on the Chinese Lunar Calendar, the Lunar New Year, also known as Spring Festival or Chinese New Year, will begin on January 22, 2023, this year. Celebrations will continue for 15 days.
2023 is the Year of the Rabbit, the fourth sign in the Chinese zodiac. The Rabbit is a symbol of prosperity, longevity and peace in the Chinese culture. It is believed that the animal ruling a person’s birth year influences their personality and ultimately their destiny. People born in the Year of the Rabbit are believed to be witty, quick thinking, attentive to detail and courteous.
Celebrate the Year of the Rabbit with the Vegas Golden Knights on January 22, 2023. The Lunar will be celebrated in their game with the Washington Capitols at 7 pm in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
There will be festivities before the game and during intermission. There will be giveaways and prizes.
