It’s that time of year again! The Maricopa County Fair is coming to the AZ Exposition & State Fairgrounds on April 3 to 5 and April 9 to 12, 2026. Be prepared for food, rides and fun! Green Vacation Deals can help you save money on the County Fair.
The Maricopa County Fair is the largest in the greater Phoenix area with 35 rides. There are rides the thrill seekers will love, rides for the little ones and rides for everyone in between. There is pure family fun for attendees of all ages.
Food
I don’t know about you, but I love to eat at the fair. I start off slowly with the melting goodness of cotton candy, a corn dog, soft drink and maybe some popcorn. Then I graduate to food I’ve never even heard of before.
Entertainment
The Fair will have live entertainment on three different stages. The Main Stage will give you a sampling of the best entertainment in the county. Bands, dance groups, singers, even martial arts groups will be performing there.
The County Fair Stage hosts the traditional County Fair Games. Come, compete and win ribbons!
The Community Stage gives budding performers a chance to get their start. See bands, belly dancers, jugglers and more as you support local talent.
And if that’s not enough entertainment for you, then don’t miss George Johnson, performing at the Country Fair Stage.
See the most fun anyone can have on four wheels when the MonsterTrucks roll into the fairgrounds on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Be amazed as these massive trucks go flying through the air performing mind boggling stunts.
And if that still isn’t enough, you can watch Demo Cross daredevils speed in an unbelievable race where anything goes!
Agriculture and livestock have been a part of the Maricopa County Fair’s history and tradition. See livestock shows where cattle, swine, goats, sheep, rabbits, poultry and more are shown and judged.
Maricopa County Fair’s Shopping Pavilion will be filled with more than 60 vendors. Another 25 vendors will be outside the Pavilion. A shopaholic’s dream!
And if all that isn’t enough to tempt you, just remember – Maricopa County will never look as lovely as it looks when you see it from the top of a ferris wheel.
The Maricopa County Fair is offering Daily Specials, including
- Free ‘Til 3 PM – Admission is free to everyone on Friday, April 3, Thursday, April 9, and Friday, April 10 until 3 PM. Parking is not included.
- $2 Ride Night – Thursday, April 9 – Each ride will cost only $2 per person. Admission is not included.
- Canned Food Drive – Thursday, April 9 – Bring 5 cans of food or non-perishable food items to the admission gate and receive free admission.
- Read to Ride – Thursday, April 9 – Students in grades K–6 can ride 4 rides for free for reading books.
- Senior Free Admission – Friday, April 10 – Guests ages 55 and older receive free admission. Parking is not included.
