Looking for kid-friendly Halloween fun and fall vibes in the Cincinnati, Ohio area? Then head to Kings Island in Mason for their annual Tricks and Treats event!
This festival takes place on select days through November 2, 2025.
There are a lot of fun activities and food you can enjoy at this festival. We’re going to tell you about them. And then we’ll tell you how you can save money on tickets to the Tricks and Treats Fall Fest!
Trick or Treating
You’d have to be able to trick and treat in a festival with trick and treating in its name, right? So I am really glad Kings Island has included that in its activities for this special event. There is a Trick or Treat Trail in Planet Snoopy. Children can collect treats – and hopefully no tricks!
Halloween Costumes
When you think of trick or treating, you think of Halloween costumes, right? Well, children can come to Tricks and Treats Fall Fest dressed up in their Halloween costumes! Kings Island even has its own Costume Contest over at the International Street Bandstand.

Food & Drinks
The candy you get from trick-or-treating isn’t the only thing you can eat at this festival. There are great foods and drinks available. There are even alcoholic drinks for guests ages 21 years old and older.
Halloween Activities
You can enjoy Halloween and fall activities at the Tricks and Treat Fall Fest, too.
The activities include:
- Beanboozled: Spin the wheel to find the flavor of jelly bean you’ll get (spoiler: some of the flavors are quite bizarre)
- Mask Maker’s Mash: Design a one-of-a-kind Halloween mask
- Patch’s Pumpkin Patch: Kids can enjoy pumpkin decorating
Live Entertainment
There are multiple shows and live entertainment available during Tricks and Treats:
- The Monsters Are Coming, Charlie Brown: A show at PEANUTS Showplace where Charlie Brown & friends prepare for a Halloween party
- The Spectral Sisters: A humorous trio of singers with New Orleans-inspired harmonies
- The Candy Corns: A roaming brass band
- The Fangtastics: A band performing on the Grand Carousel Stage
- Skelebration! Dance Party: A kid-friendly Halloween-themed dance party at International Street Bandstand
