ICE! at Gaylord National Resort is a great holiday tradition for families in or visiting the Washington D.C. area. Every year, the resort pulls out all the stops in a breathtaking Christmas display made out of sculptures. Incredible artisans spend months creating life-size sculptures for this exhibit. They keep the place at nine degrees Fahrenheit so the ice won’t melt, so you can bundle up in one of the parks they provide and walk through the exhibit with your family. It is a truly wonderful thing to experience and witness for adults and children.
Unfortunately, ICE! has not happened at the Gaylord National Resort for the last two years due to the worldwide pandemic. But the good news is that this year, it’s back!
When does Gaylord National Harbor Ice Take Place?
ICE! at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center is an exhibit that starts on November 20, 2022. It will run through December 31, 2022.
What is the Theme for Gaylord National Harbor Ice 2022?
This year the theme is the very popular Christmas movie, the appropriately named A Christmas Story. You’ll see your favorite characters like Ralphie and his family in sculpture form. The sculptures create scenes so you’ll feel like you’re walking through the movie, which is a really neat experience.
