New York Holiday Markets and Lights Tour 2020

So we all know that Christmas in 2020 will be different than in the past.  But luckily we can still have some of the same traditions.  Just in a responsible way.

So the New York Holiday Markets and Lights Tour will be taking place this year.  It takes place on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in December 2020.

But Inside Out Tours is offering this in a responsible way, given the current pandemic.  This tour will be done in a smaller group than in the past.  And you will have to adhere to social distancing rules.  But you can still enjoy the guided part of the tour by getting the ELYSIUM TGS APP before your tour. Then you’ll be able to follow your tour guide while social distancing.

But being responsible won’t stop you from enjoying the magic of the holiday season!

Itinerary

You will begin your tour in front of the Main Entrance of the Shops of Columbus Circle. This is at 10 Columbus Circle in New York City.

You’ll get to see some amazing holiday lights and elaborate Christmas window displays at some of the most famous department stores in Manhattan.  At the same, you will learn about the traditions & history of Christmas in New York City from your guide.

Then you’ll get to New York City’s Christmas markets!  This is a great place to go if you want to buy a unique Christmas or Hanukkah present this year.  It’s also good if you’re looking for some great holiday decor.  That’s because you can find a lot of handcrafted goods, local art, and fashionable winter attire here.

It’s also a good place to go if you are hungry or thirsty.  You can get traditional food and warm Christmas drinks here.

Another reason this tour is so great is, in addition to the holiday markets and Christmas displays, you will see shooting locations from famous holiday movies shot in New York City.  A few of those movies are Elf, Home Alone 2, and New Year’s Eve.
