San Jose Holiday Lights is a holiday season event at Discovery Meadow in San Jose, California. It is a multi-day event that runs from November 21, 2025, through January 4, 2026. It features six different zones, 2,000 handcrafted lantern sculptures, 40 unique photo opportunities, and more.

San Jose Holiday Lights Features
There’s a lot to love at San Jose Holiday Lights. You’ll have lots of opportunities for great photos. There are 2,000 handcrafted lantern sculptures spread out across six different sections.
Which, of course, brings me to these six sections!
Golden Christmas
Here, you can walk beneath a candelit tunnel and stand in awe in front of a beautiful 60-foot golden Christmas tree.
White Christmas Wonderland
Enjoy a classic winter wonderland, complete with reindeer, penguins, a snowman, Santa Claus, snowflakes, and more.
Candy Wonderland
This whimsical zone features ice cream Christmas trees and a huge donut tunnel.
Cactus Mirage
This Mexican-inspired zone features cacti and colorful creatures. It is a wonderful blend of fantasy and tradition.
Enchanted Jungle
Here’s where you’ll find a jungle – but not just any jungle. No, this one includes dinosaurs, giant caterpillars, and even the mythical Quetzalcoatl.
Celestial Garden
This garden-themed zone features California wildflowers, zodiac trees, roses, and floral arches.
