Can you feel it in the air? Christmas is quickly approaching. And that means we are days away from the Upperco Yuletide Village reopening for 2022!
Upperco Yuletide Village is a Christmas event brought to you by the Upperco Volunteer Fire Company. It was a wonderful holiday experience for families and guests in the Baltimore, Maryland area. It takes place at 16020 Carnival Avenue in Upperco, Maryland.
One of the highlights of this event is the Christmas lights. There is a half-mile-long trail of holiday lights! You can enjoy this from the warm of inside your car, since this is a drive-through event.
In addition to Christmas lights, Christmas decorations around the Village, like decorated Christmas wreaths & Christmas trees. There are large animated displays and hand-painted wooden cutouts. And I know you’ll love the humungous reindeer and sleigh!
This is the fourth-annual Yuletide Village holiday lights. It’s also the fourth-annual train garden! So make sure once you are done driving through the holiday lights, you step inside. They have an indoor interactive train garden. While you are inside, you can also grab a souvenir cup of hot chocolate. Or pick up an annual ornament.
There are other fun holiday activities at the festival. There is a scavenger hunt and live music playing. You can also write letters to Santa Claus.
And speaking of Santa, he’ll be there! Santa and his friends drop by for nightly visits.
The event takes place on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) starting November 25, 2022. The event is not open, however, on Christmas Eve or Christmas. It is also open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday on December 26, 27, 28, and 29. It is open from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM, except for on Sundays when it is open from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. It lasts until Friday, December 30, 2022.
