We told you about the different global marketplaces available at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival in our EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Guide here. But today we want to focus on one specific global marketplace: Flavors of America!
Flavors of America is (very fittingly) found in the American Pavilion of the World Showcase. And one of the reasons we wanted to spotlight this particular global marketplace is we think it is one of the best of the festival. And this is really saying something, because we are huge fans of this popular Disney World event. So for this particular global marketplace to stand out really says something.
So we want to tell you about the menu, and what our favorite menu items are.

Best Entree Menu Item
The best menu item you can eat as an entree would have to be the Gulf Coast-style Seafood Roll.
This was my favorite thing I ate at the whole festival this past week. Everything about it was so good.
The rock shrimp was delicious. I didn’t necessarily taste much of the lobster, but everything I tasted was delicious. The sherry-crème fraîche and lobster bisque were a perfect complement to the rest of the roll. They also softened the toasted brioche bun so everything was soft.
Best Dessert Menu Item
The Freshly Baked Chocolate Pudding Cake was another great menu item.
In fact, I think that was the best dessert I had at the festival. The chocolate was so rich and the tastes blended together perfectly. I really like chocolate cake, and this chocolate cake did not disappoint.
Best Drink Menu Item
We found the best drink to be the von Trapp Brewing Natür Helles Lager.
This drink was great. We expected a little kick here and there is none. It’s very smooth tasting.
Oh, and by the way: if you are looking for a great non-alcoholic drink, then you can stop by the Regal Eagle (which is also in the American Pavilion). They have a great non-alcoholic Cherry-Lime Slush available during the festival that we loved!
