I love the festivals at Epcot theme park in Disney World. One of my favorite parts of these festivals are the foods and drinks. There are food and drinks kiosks spread throughout the park serving unique dishes and drinks. I like eating and drinking some of my favorites each year and discovering new ones.
You might think you can only get this at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. But that’s simply not true. You can also get this at Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. There are booths set up at the front of the park that are appropriately themed to gardens and the outdoors, like Farmer’s Feast (which we review here).
But the Outdoor Kitchens that are in the World Showcase section of Epcot are themed to different countries and areas. For example, you have Fleur de Lys themed to France (see the review here), Bauernmarkt-themed to Germany (see the review here), and Northern Bloom themed to Canada (see the review here).
So today I wanted to talk about another Outdoor Kitchen at the Flower and Garden Festival. And that Outdoor Kitchen is called La Isla Fresca.
La Isla Fresca is a bit different from the others I mentioned because it is not directly associated with a country’s pavilion that is in Epcot. Instead, it is themed to the Caribbean islands. You can find it between the France Pavilion and Morocco Pavilion.
Here’s a tip, too: if you order food from here and you want to sit down and eat it, then go to the Morocco Pavilion. There are a number of tables throughout the pavilion where you can sit and eat your food.
So what is this food? Well, let me tell you about the menu.

La Isla Fresca Menu Review
First, let me talk about the braised oxtail.
We were a bit mixed on this. It’s quite spicy, so if you don’t like spicy there’s a good chance you won’t like it.
But otherwise, the flavors are really good and nothing is overpowering. It was a great blend of flavors.
The meat was the best part, and it was very tender.
But our favorite menu item at this outdoor kitchen was the Coconut Tres Leches.
This was really good. The coconut was the best part. It was that super special ingredient that took the dish to the next level. Though the best part was when you had a bite that had the cream, cake, and coconut together.
Conclusion
If you are looking for delicious Caribbean cuisine while you’re at the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival, then head to La Isla Fresca Outdoor Kitchen. My family liked the food, and we suspect you’ll like their food and drink offerings.
But you will need a Disney World ticket to attend the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. You can purchase a discounted Disney World ticket here.
