Last weekend, my family had the pleasure of attending the Tricks and Treats event at Carowinds theme park. This an event that takes place at the popular Charlotte theme park on the weekends. If you haven’t been yet, don’t worry. It will be running through November 2, 2025.

- Trick-or-Treat Trail: Not only can kids collect candy on this special trail, but they can meet friendly characters along the way!
- Patch’s Pumpkin Patch: Pick out that special pumpkin & then decorate it at a pumpkin decorating station
- Mask Maker’s Mash: Kids can get creative here and design a unique Halloween mask.
- Phantom Foam Pit: A ghostly foam party designed with the youngest guests in mind
Live Entertainment
- The Spectral Sisters: A jazzy singing group with a spooky sense of humor singing New Orleans-inspired harmonies
- Skelebration Dance Party: A Halloween dance party
- The Costume Contest: A chance for children to show off their Halloween costume, where you can even win special prizes.
- BeanBoozled: Spin the “Wheel of Beans” and get the chance to eat a bizarre-flavored jellybean.

You can find specialty menu items at three different booths at the event.
Terminal A

- A beef burger topped with onion rings & mac and cheese

Shake Central

- A salted caramel espresso milkshake with a toasted marshmallow & chocolate drizzle.
- Boo-berry Milkshake
- A blue raspberry milkshake decorated with chocolate horns.
- Candy Apple Milkshake
- A green apple milkshake topped with an apple cereal treat and strawberry & caramel syrup.
Granny’s Ice Cream
- Cauldron Delight
- Pumpkin spice soft-serve ice cream
- Comes in a waffle bowl
- Topped with a drizzle of caramel
