Las Vegas Chinese New Year

Forbes has called Las Vegas “one of the top 8 places in the U.S. to celebrate Chinese New Year.”  Chinese New Year In The Desert is in its 9th year and is bigger and better than ever. Chinese New Year begins on January 25, 2020, and lasts for 15 days.

In Las Vegas, restaurants will be offering special meals to celebrate.  You’ll see beautiful displays of flowers, lanterns, and decorations in the Bellagio, the Venetian, the MGM Grand and others.

The annual parade will be going through downtown Las Vegas on January 25, 2020, to kick off the celebration.  Afterward, there will be Community Arts & Craft and Cultural Performances with food trucks. Grand Canal Shoppes on the Strip will have a ribbon cutting ceremony, Lions Blessing and Lions Dance.  On Sunday, January 26, 2020, Peng Pang Pong (Gold Coast) will have an 8 Course Family Style Dinner.

If you’d like to visit Las Vegas on that weekend, you should consider the following 3 and 4 Star hotels.  Book these through Vegas.com to get the discounted rates. Las Vegas is a popular destination for Lunar New Year so act quickly.  These deals won’t last long.
