No summer could be complete without a visit to Cedar Point theme park in Sandusky, Ohio. Cedar Point is such a great theme park.  It has been entertaining guests since the late-1800’s.  It is popular for a lot of reasons.  But is perhaps most famous for having some of the best roller coasters in the world.  In fact, that is why the theme park has been dubbed the “Roller Coaster Capital of the World”.

Is there anything new coming to Cedar Point in 2023?
 
I am glad you asked, because the answer is yes, there is!  And not just one new attraction.  There is a whole new section, The Boardwalk!
 
There you can find a lot of revitalized family attractions.  The Matterhorn and Scrambler, will be relocated to The Boardwalk and the Scrambler will be rebranded into the new exciting Atomic Scrambler.  Similarly, the Tiki Twirl spinning ride will also be renamed to the former park classic Calypso. 
 
Another attraction that is getting a facelift is Cedar Point’s Grand Pavilion.  This first opened in 1888, and it as the center of entertainment for guests.  It is now a bi-level complex with a new restaurant with culinary items not found anywhere else in the park (along with traditional favorites), a waterfront bar, lots of seating indoors and outdoors, and viewing decks with amazing views of Cedar Point and the Lake Erie shoreline.
 
Oh, and there is even a brand-new attraction!  Wild Mouse is Cedar Point’s eighteenth and newest roller coaster.  This ride features 360-degree spins and is unique because no two rides will be the same.
