If you want a delicious breakfast in a beautiful setting at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, then you should go to the Grand Floridian Cafe.  My family just got back from a Disney World trip and we did just that.  My whole family loved our experience and we’d love to share it with you.

We booked a reservation at the Grand Floridian Cafe the day of when a reservation window popped up on the app.  We were staying at the Grand Floridian, so it was really convenient.

You can access the Grand Floridian Cafe through the main lobby or by walking outside.  It’s in between the lobby and the Gasparilla Island Grill.

When we got there, we waited in a beautiful lobby area right outside of the restaurant.  When it was our time, they took our temperature and then sat us at our table.

I really loved the entire atmosphere of the restaurant.  It was perfectly in keeping with the rest of the hotel.  It was lovely, high-class, and had hints of Disney charm throughout the restaurant.  The decor and wall paper were all on point.

But who cares about the atmosphere if the food is terrible, right?  But luckily, that was absolutely not the case here!

The majority of my table (including me) got the Brioche French Toast.

And I was so glad I ordered it because it was absolutely delicious!  I love French Toast, but this was particularly special.  It was a Madagascar Vanilla Bean-scented Brioche French Toast and I ate every bite!  It also came with great bacon.

My sister got the Old-fashioned Buttermilk Pancakes with bacon.

She said it was soft, fluffy, and delicious.

My mother had the Traditional Eggs Benedict.

She thought it was absolutely delicious and the best Eggs Benedict she had had since a brunch on a Washington, D.C. trip awhile back.  It comes with a Marinated Tomato Salad, which she also loved.

Hotel Deals

So as I said before, my family was staying at the Grand Floridian which made eating here incredibly convenient.  Grand Floridian is such an amazing hotel that makes a trip to Disney World even better.  You might think it’s too expensive for your budget, but it actually doesn’t have to be.  We were able to get a great deal by booking a Disney Vacation Club villa.  One of the buildings at the Grand Floridian Resort is a Disney Vacation Club building.  You can stay in one of these rooms even if you are not a Disney Vacation Club member.  You can do this by booking a stay through David’s Vacation Club Rentals.  Basically, you rent points and you can book a stay that way.  If that sounds confusing, don’t worry.  We go over how to do that here.

The Grand Floridian Cafe is obviously convenient if you are staying at the Grand Floridian.  But you can also take a monorail to the Grand Floridian to eat here if you are staying at the Polynesian Resort or the Contemporary Resort.  You can also get a great rate for these hotels through David’s Vacation Club Rentals, too.  And you can take a monorail from the Magic Kingdom to get here, too.
