Breckenridge, Colorado is a beautiful city. My family loved visiting there. It is a wonderful city to visit during the winter.
And a wonderful way to make a visit to Breckenridge during the winter even better is to take a sleigh ride. Because what could be more iconic than doing a classic sleigh ride?
Breckenridge Stables offers great sleigh rides led by a team of Belgian or Percheron horses. You can look up at the mountains during your sleigh ride and get breathtaking views of the Ten Mile Range and the Continental Divide. Blankets are provided during the sleigh ride so you can snuggle up and get cozy. It can make for a very romantic date during a romantic trip. It can also be a fun activity for families and friends, too.
There are two different sleigh ride options. You can take just the Scenic Sleigh Ride. Then you get a 35-45 minute sleigh ride around the meadow of the Breckenridge Gold Run Nordic Center.
The Dinner Sleigh Ride option also includes the scenic sleigh ride. But after the sleigh ride, you’ll go back to the clubhouse for a buffet-style meal. You can choose from several types of main dishes, salads, desserts, and drinks. There are also children’s options and one vegetarian option. You even get live entertainment during your meal!
Sleigh rides are available starting January 4, 2023. They’ll be available through March 31, 2023. The scenic rides are available Wednesdays through Sundays at 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 7:00 PM. The dinner rides are available Wednesdays through Sundays at 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
