Toronto is one of the biggest cities in North America. Only New York City and Los Angeles are larger. There is so much to do and see in Toronto. Unfortunately, it isn’t cheap. But, if you can get to Toronto, we can tell you about some fun and free things to do.

Union Summer is bringing together Toronto’s musicians, top chefs, film screenings and live to Union Station. There will be free entry to all events.

Outside Union Station in downtown Toronto from now until August 28, 2022, there will be nonstop programming. You can see Toronto’s hottest DJs, band performances, Blue Jay game screenings, game nights and much more!

Summer Schedule For Programs

Monday

  • Blue Mondays in conjunction with Toronto Blues Society including blues shows

Tuesday

  • Game Night Tuesdays featuring musical bingo, live karaoke and trivia

Wednesday

  • Wednesday evening movie screenings

Thursday

  • Showcase featuring Canada’s music incubator artists
  • Late Nights with Lula Lounge

Friday

  • The best of Union Beats DJs every Friday afternoon
  • SoulSessions every Friday evening

Saturday

  • Symphony Saturday afternoons with Big Lake Festival
  • Night Market with City Hall Live

Sunday

  • Big Easy Sunday afternoons
  • Evening global music featuring Small World Music artists

This is happening at Sir John A. Macdonald Plaza, outside Union Station.

Hours

  • Sunday to Tuesday from 11 am to 7 pm
  • Wednesday to Friday from 11 am to 9 pm
  • Saturday from 11 am to 10 pm

These events will also feature some of Toronto’s top food vendors, including

  • Mikey’s Smashburgers
  • Souvla by Mamakas
  • Gus Tacos
  • Naansense by Butter Chicken Roti

While all programming is free, food and drink is by purchase.
