You might need some liquid courage as you listen to ghostly tales and visit haunted sites.  This will be happening on the Austin Boos & Booze Haunted Pub Crawl.

Your tour will begin in the Driskill Bar at The Driskill Hotel.  Built in 1886, the Driskill has been a hotspot for oil barons, musicians and celebrities.  It has also been a hotspot for paranormal activity.

A young girl once fell to her death on the Grand Staircase and many people have reported seeing an apparition doing just that.  There were two suicidal brides who killed themselves in the bathtub of the same room 20 years apart to the day.  Some people have reported seeing Jesse Driskill, the original owner, in the hotel although he died over a century ago.

If you’d like to check the Driskill out, you can save money on your stay by booking it here.

You’ll see the Paramount Theatre.  Built in 1915, the Paramount Theatre hosted vaudeville shows.  Over the years, it has acquired 3 spirits.

The theatre was built over a battleground.  For years, people reported seeing a sad woman dressed in white.  Many believe she’s the wife or the mother of a soldier who died in battle.  She recently was captured in a photo floating above the mezzanine.

There is also the spirit of an older man sitting in an opera box smoking a cigar before he vanishes into thin air.

Walter was a projectionist who died during the showing of Casablanca, his favorite movie.  His co-workers made a shrine to him in the projection room.  Walter had a sweet tooth so they keep candy at the shrine.  Many have reported seeing Walter’s apparition working with the projector.

Sixth Street has become the #1 party destination in Austin but it also has more than its share of paranormal activity.  You’ll pay a visit to Casino El Camino where you can enjoy a unique Bloody Mary or another drink (own expense).

Your guide can tell you about a spirit called “Mary.”  Bartenders have heard her tapping along the walls and they’ve seen her opening and slamming doors.

You’ll visit Maggie Mae’s which has an epic rooftop bar.  It also has a room full of guitars which has been said to be full of creepy happenings.  Many guests have seen a transparent vision of a ghostly woman.

You’ll listen to stories of untimely deaths, tragedies, murder, broken dreams and violence.  Learn about phenomena that have no reasonable explanations.  You’ll learn about the history of the capital of Texas in a very interesting way.
