National Rose Day is a celebration of one of the most popular wines in the world. Rose wine is light and fruity, making it a go to for many wine enthusiasts. Rose is versatile and can be paired with a variety of foods, from spicy dishes to grilled meats, making it a great addition to almost any meal.
You’ll receive a commemorative souvenir cup which you can use for sampling rose wine. Your ticket includes unlimited sampling of over 50 rose wines. These wines come from around the corner to around the world, including some French favorites.
There will be a Demonstration Kitchen where you can learn how to sip wine like a pro. Do you have any questions about rose wines? Roaming sommeliers will be at this event. They can answer your questions about varieties, vintages and food pairings or any questions you may have about the wine making process.
There will be an artisan market that will feature small businesses from the greater Washington, D.C., area. Buy local! You can also buy bottles of wine at this event.
There will be live music and entertainment at the rose celebration. You can dance the afternoon away to music by top D.C. DJs.
