It’s time to celebrate Pride Month with your favorite WNBA team. Yes, the Connecticut Sun’s Pride Night is quickly approaching!
This year, it takes place on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. This is when Alyssa Thomas, Brionna Jones, DeWanna Bonner, and the rest of the Connecticut Sun take on Kahleah Copper, Marina Mabrey, Dana Evans, and the rest of the Chicago Sky. It should be a great game between two top Eastern Conference WNBA teams. Could have playoff implications, even. So that is reason enough to go.
But of course, there are the Pride Night festivities. Connecticut Sun’s Pride Night, sponsored by Jordan’s Furniture, includes a special halftime performance. So you’re going to want to watch that.
You’re going to also want to get to the game early. Because the first 2,500 fans who arrive will get a free Connecticut Sun beach towel. I don’t know about you, but I always love getting freebies at games.
