You’ll go to the Rose Kennedy Greenway and on to Boston Harbor. Depending on what’s in season and what’s available, you may be trying stuffed scallops, stuffed guahog clams, raw oysters, or fried clams. You’ll go on a walk through a scenic waterfront park with views of the harbor.
You’ll continue on to State Street and the historic Custom House Tower, the city’s first skyscraper. Walk into the heart of downtown Boston, stopping in front of the Old State House and the site of the Boston Massacre.
Next you’ll see Old City Hall, a beautiful French Revivalist Building. It was the seat of city government for years and is the site of the birth of public education. See the beautiful Massachusetts State House and take in views of the city, the skyscrapers of downtown, the Financial District and the tallest building in New England, the John Hancock Tower.
You’ll go on to Beacon Hill, one of the most photogenic neighborhoods in the city. Finally, you’ll go to the gorgeous Boston Public Garden.
